I think bridal shower is a good idea. Is like a baby shower where you are celebrating the baby but in bridal shower you are celebrating the girl becoming a woman.
So, on your bridal shower, invite all your close friends and family(female only) and just enjoy the day together. And I personally think the perfect gift for the bride would be something for the home.. for example.. a coffee maker, quilt cover set, and even gift tokens to a food shop and to a hotel.
